Three low upright earthfast stones forming three corners of a rectangle. There are traces of buried stones at each end of the 'rectangle'. Could possibly be the remains of a cist.

Described by the OS (1982) as "At ND 0912 3309, in open moorland relatively free of stones, is a setting of three upright slabs, 0.5 to 0.6m high, with their faces aligned NW-SE. They have undoubtedly been set up by man, and superficially their size and disposition suggest the orthostats of a chambered cairn, but cairn material is totally absent and this premise is unlikely. Alternatively, this may be the remains of a 'four-poster'. The nearest man-made structures are six hut circles 80m to the NE."
