Circular stone-built structure with internal D-shaped cell defined by two side slabs. Stands to a maximum height of 0.9m with dry-stone foundations visible in places. Outer walls have collapsed and are defined as a grass-covered slope. There is a stream 5m to the east and the road is 10m to the north. The walls are overgrown with peat and heather, interior grass-covered. A few outlying large stones may define a more complex structure. Possible doorway/entrance to the east.

Described by OS as "Old kiln. A turf-covered, stony mound with a depression in one side in which one or two earthfast slabs on edge appear. The purpose and period of the mound is uncertain."
